ZANZI HALF start at People’s Palace in Stone Town and take you out of town by Vuga rd. passing many historical buildings on your way out of town and running in different residential areas depending on your distance.
Runners for 21 K and 10 K will start and run together until the 7-kilometer mark pssing Michezani, Kariokoo, Ng’amobe and when they arrive at Kilimani chini all runners for 10 K will turn right and 21 K, turns left and continues up Kilimani towards Ngazi Mia by Nyerere rd.
10 K runners return towards Stone Town by Mnazi Mmoja grounds and passing Kelele Square before passing Old Fort.
Half Marathon runners continue out towards the airport, passing Mombasa, Kiembe Samaki, and Kwa Kira and turning right towards Chukwani. Returning to Stone Town by Mbweni rd., Nyerere rd., Mnazi Mmoja ground and passing Kelele Square.
5K will go straight after Vuga and be passing Kikwajuni, Mau Stadium and then return to Stown Town together with 10K from Mnazi Mmoja Grounds.
All runners finish at People’s Palace in Forodhani, Stone Town.
